location noted below to consider the following item:Minor Conditional Use Permit (MCUP)16 -006 is a request to
add six lights to an existing sports court on the residential property located at 14144 Sky Mountain Tr ail within the
Rural Residential-C (RR-C)zone and within the Gate Drive Specific Plan area.The proposed project is Categorically
Exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA),Class 3 Categorical Exemption,pursuant to Section
15 303(e)of the CEQA Guidelines,in that the project proposes the construction of accessory structures/equipment
on a single-family residential property.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Poway will hold a Public Hearing to consider the
following item: An Ordinance of the City of Poway to relinquish 0.03-acres (1,218 square feet) of a 10.95-acre
City-owned Open Space lot (Assessor Parcel Number (APN) 278-280-24 ) to accommodate driveway related
improvements associated with a pending single-family residential development application for an adjacent 8-acre
property located on Oak Canyon Road within the Rural Residential A (RR-A) zone (APN 278-290-12 ). An equal
amount of land from the adjacent property will be added to the City-owned parcel. The Ordinance is Exempt from
the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), pursuant to Section 15061(b)(3) of the CEQA Guidelines, in that
there is no possibility that it will have a signifi cant effect on the environment because the Ordinance entails the
implementation of existing regulations that result in an equal transfer of land to preserve open space. A separate
environmental assessment pursuant to CEQA will be completed on the single-family project as it proceeds through
the development review process.
