Subject: Proposal to add new building at Creekside Plaza
Hi Caylin,
Thank you for asking folks to send you their concerns regarding this proposal. As a resident of the
Garden Road community in Poway for over 25 years, we have seen so many businesses, specifically
restaurants, on the east end of Poway struggle to stay in business. Additionally, vacancies on Poway
Rd. also show that there are plenty of buildings available. It really isn't an issue of not enough
buildings of the wrong kind of tenants.
Poway residents need to support Poway businesses.
My family has been going to Creekside Plaza for years to shop for groceries, sell GS cookies, get our
nails done, pick up a sandwich, watch a movie, get our oil changed, meet for coffee or use the ATM.
It is a busy center and losing the parking spaces would hurt all of these business.
This is just not a good idea for Poway.
