PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Poway will hold a Public Hearing to consider
the following item: A request for the City Council of the City of Poway to give approval for Poway Commons
Affordable CIC, LP to apply for tax-exempt facility bonds, in an amount not to exceed $12,000,000 in
aggregate principal amount (the “bonds”), by the California Municipal Finance Authority for a qualified
residential rental project pursuant to Section 142(a)(7) of the Code. The proceeds of the bonds will be used
to: (1) finance the acquisition, construction, improvement and equipping of a senior multifamily rental
housing project located at the northwest corner of Civic Center Drive and Tarascan Drive, Poway,
California; and (2) pay certain expenses incurred in connection with the issuance of the bonds. The facilities
are to be owned by Poway Commons Affordable CIC, LP (the Borrower) or a partnership of which related
Chelsea Investment Corporation (the Developer) or a related person to the Developer is the general partner.

Poway, CA, or by visiting the City’s website at www.poway.org. If you wish to express concerns in favor or
against the above, you may appear in person at the above described meeting or submit your concerns in
writing to the City Clerk, City of Poway. If you challenge the matter in court, you may be limited to raising
only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written
correspondence delivered to the City Council at, or prior to, the public hearing. If you have special needs
requiring assistance at the meeting, please call the City Clerk's Office at (858) 668-4530 at least 24 hours
