CITY OF POWAY NOTICE AND SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 844 which was introduced at the regular City Council meeting of September 15, 2020. This Ordinance is scheduled for adoption at the Regular City Council Meeting of October 6, 2020. ORDINANCE NO. 844 entitled, “An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Poway, California, Amending Sections 8.68.130, 8.68.145, 8.68.155, and 8.68.170 of Chapter 8.68 (Solid Waste Management) of the Poway Municipal Code.” The proposed Ordinance would amend sections 8.68.130, 8.68.145, 8.68.155, and 8.68.170 of Chapter 8.68 of the Poway Municipal Code to update residential and commercial service collections to comply with state organic recycling requirements. The amendments will add the automation of residential green waste
