1.All buildings now comply with the Specific Plan height limitations.
2.The 4-story buildings facing south toward the single-family neighborhood are now “stepped”.All building
elements facing the single-family neighborhood are 3-story and at least 75’from the property line.Lush,
stepped landscaping will be installed along the shared property line as well.
3.The overall number of apartments is reduced from 220 to 212.
4.On-site parking now complies with the Specific Plan parking standards.
5.Retail space along Poway Road was increased by 20%;the project now has 11,364 SF of retail.
6.Public open space was increased to 9,955 SF.The eastern plaza provides active and passive family-
oriented recreation features including children’s climbing logs/boulders and a rock/water play feature.
7.Eliminated the request for “Public Benefit”credit for the traffic signal.The signal will be a privately
funded improvement.The project will also contribute to the Traffic Signal Optimization program as well
as pay a contribution to the Community Benefit Fund of $500/apartment.
