SUBJECT: Reimbursement Agreement for 10th Year CDBG Project - Sound
Attenuation Wall, East Side of Pomerado Road
On October 11, 1984, the City Council directed staff to take the necessary
actions to document the conditions on the east side of Pomerado Road and to
proceed with the 10th year CDBG project for the installation of curbs, gutters,
sidewalks, 8 -foot high noise attenuation walls, and landscaping between McFerron
Road and Tassel Road.
HUD has authorized the expenditure of'the City's 10th year CDBG allocation of
$201,281 for the Panerado Road project. The City Council can expedite this pro-
ject by taking the following actions:.
- Authorize the Mayor to execute the reimbursement agreement.'
- Authorize staff to solicit bids for the project when the County execu-
tes the reimbursement agreement.
- Direct staff to begin contacting the homeowners between-McFerron Road
and Tassel Road.
