The Consent Calendar may be enacted in one motion by the Council without discussion
unless a Councilmember, a member of the public, or City staff requests that an item be
removed for discussion.
1.1 Adoption of Poway Housing Authority Resolution Extending the Time Period in which
Certain Property Must be Developed for Affordable Housing Pursuant to Health and Safety
Code Section 33334.16
PUBLIC HEARING
2.1 Public Hearing to Take Input Regarding Draft Voting District Maps and Potential Sequence
of District Elections as Part of Transition to By-District Elections for City Council Members
City Manager’s Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council 1) receive
public comment and discuss the draft voting district maps presented, as well as the
potential sequence of the elections for the districts; and 2) consider eliminating any draft
maps that it no longer wishes to consider adopting in order to reduce the number of maps
to a more manageable number, ideally somewhere between 4-6 maps.
