MINUTES OF THE PARKS AND RECREATION ADVISORY COMMITTEE
SPECIAL MEETING – COMMUNITY PARK MASTER PLAN COMMUNITY MEETING
OCTOBER 13, 2009
The September 30, 2009, Special Meeting of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee
was called to order at 6:10 p.m. Director Dena Fuentes at the Poway City Council Chambers,
13325 Civic Center Drive, Poway, California for a Special Parks and Recreation Advisory
Committee Meeting.

COMMITTEE BUSINESS
1. The committee members attended the Community Park Master Plan Community
Meeting. After the community meeting, the committee members met in the Council
Chambers Observation Room for a debriefing.
2. The committee members reported that overall the residents who participated in the
meeting agreed that more lighting, safety, and restrooms in more locations at
Community Park topped the list of items most wanted. The committee members agreed
that Chair Simon would make the presentation to the City Council November 17.
ADJOURNMENT
Chairperson Simon adjourned the meeting at 8:30 p.m.
