RECCWIENDED ZONINU PLAN: RS-7 ANALYSIS The subject site is part of a single family subdivision. As part of the • development process the developer should have installed noise attenuating measures along the Poway Road frontages. If the property owner installs such the noise will be mitigated to an acceptable level. The adjacent westerly property is suggested to be multiple family and upon development could remedy the current problem of compatibility. Sufficient mitigation measures are present in the new development code to protect adjacent single family homes. RECOMMENDATION Leave as Residential Family 5 and RS-7 zoning. \ ACTION: 7-5-83 Took public testimony. 7-19-83 Tentative vote to adopt staff recommendation to designate this property RS-7 as delineated in the Draft Plan. Bridges City of Poway 13202 Poway Road Poway, California 92064 Dear Sirs: In response to our recent conversation regarding the future sale of property located at 13208 Ann-O-Reno, I have researched the market for current properties for sale in my area. I feel ( that I must recommend a request for re-zone from RS7 to C-36, • as the property is surrounded by other parcels which are already • C-36, some of which were rezoned. This has resulted in a non-conforming residential area along Poway Road plus an added problem of traffic noise as many new businesses have recently opened along Poway Road. The surrounding commercial parcels have had a negative effect on my property value as a residential resale.
