SUBJECT: Ordinance No. 190 - Second Reading
BACKGROUND
On June 24, 1986, the City Council introduced and had the first reading on
Ordinance No. 190 - "An Ordinance of the City of Poway, California, Adding
Section 8.20.050(b) to the Poway Municipal Code., Penalty for Delinquent Payment
of Health Permit Fees." Mayor Kruse was absent at first reading.
FINDINtS
It is in order to have the second reading and adopt this Ordinance.
RECQ ESIDATION
If the City Council docires to adopt, read title and waive further reading of
Ordinance by unanimous vote. Pass motion closing public hearing and adopting
(roll call vote) .

ORDINANCE NO. 190 •
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
ADDING SECTION 8.20.050(b) TO
THE POWAY MUNICIPAL CODE, PENALTY
FOR DELINQUENT PAYMENT OF HEALTH PERMIT FEES
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY:
Section 8.20.050(b) is hereby adopted to read as follows:
b. The delinquent penalty fee for new applications may be waived by the
Health Officer in case of error made by Division of Environmental
Health Protection staff or when the applicant has not held a health
permit during the past five years, and was unaware that a health permit
was required.
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall take effect and be in force thirty
(30) days after the date of its passage; and before the expiration of fifteen
(15) days after its passage, it shall be published once with the names and nen-
bers voting for and against the same in the Poway News Chieftain, a newspaper of
general circulation published in the City of Poway.
Introduced and first read at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Poway held the 24th day of June, 1986, and thereafter PASSED AND ADOPTED
at a regular meeting of said City Council held the day of , 1986,
by the following roll call vote:
