Schuler, Senior Civil Engineer ri DATE: SUBJECT: BACKGROUND June 3,.1986 Collection of Assessments on Tax Rolls for Fiscal Year 1986-87 Poway Landscape Maintenance District 86-1 At the May 20, 1986 meeting the•City Council approved the Engineer's Report and adopted Resolution 86-045, declaring the intention to levy and collect assessments within Poway Landscape Maintenance Assessment District No. 86-1 (Attachment 1):- for fiscal year 1986-87. A total of 415 parcels now form the district. The amount to be collected onthe tax roll for this fiscal year is Landscape Maintenance: District 83-1 $36,600 FINDINGS In order for the above_ amounts to be -collected on the tax roll for fiscal year 1986-87, it is necessary for the. City Council to adopt a resolution authorizing this action. RECOMMENDATION It is recommended that the City Council adopt the attached resolution (Attachment 2) approving the collection of the Landscape Maintenance District assessments on the property tax roll for fiscal year 1986-87 JLB : ADA: AFS : mh Attachments: 1. A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING LANDSCAPE- MAINTENANCE DISTRICT ASSESSMENT NO. 86-1 TO BE COLLECTED ON THE PROPERTY ROLL FOR FISCAL YEAR 1986-87 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Poway desires _ to have Landscape Maintenance District Assessments collected ' on the property tax roll; .and WHEREAS, at a regular meeting of the Poway City :Council the amounts to be collected have been set forth in a public report and the public has, been allowed to commentonthese amounts and this action has been duly advertised as required_ by law; and _ WHEREAS, this 'action 'is authorized by the laws of the State of California. NOW, THEREFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY DOES =; HEREBY FIND, RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: Section 1.
