Seal Coat Program Bid
On July 8, 1986 the Council authorized bidding the 1986 Seal Coat
Program for various public streets in Poway. On September 03, 1986
bids were received. Only one contractor 'bid`on the program and
his bid $509,743.78 was 60% over the Engineer's estimate.
The bid received from California Pavement Maintenance, Inc.
a responsible bid.
It is recommended that the Council reject the bid and direct
staff to rebid. the program.
