In order for a vehicle or ether equimentto be: considered "surplus property",
it must fall into one of the following categories::
1) Inoperable - not economically repairable.
2) In service but: not econanical.' to continue: in service.
3) Obsolete andwill no longer" provide recjured. service.
At the end of eachfiscal year Vehicle Maintenance provides the Purchasing
Division; with a list of vehicles and equipmentthat fall into one of the above
categories.
