Rejection. of Bids and Request to Rebid the
Construction of the Fishing Float Lighting
System at Lake Poway
On March 18, 1986, bids were received for the construction of a
fishing float lighting system. at. Lake Poway. Itis recommended that.
all bids be rejected and that the City Council authorize staff to
prepare a new call for bids.
Seven bids were received for the construction of a fishing float
lighting system at Lake Poway The apparent low bidder was Bonita
Electric of Chula Vista.
Upon examination of the bids, it became apparent that some of the
bidders were provided with information regarding a heavy concentration
of rockin the area of construction, while other bidders were not.

It is recommended that the City Council: a) reject all bids received.
