Meetings I Regular City Council meetings are held on the first and third Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers located at 13325 Civic Center Drive, Poway, CA 92064. The Council Chamber will be open to the public. Public Meeting Access I Members of the public may attend the City Council meeting in person, or watch the City Council meeting live online. Regular City Council meetings are broadcast live on Cox Communication Channel 24 and Spectrum Channel 19. Council meeting videos are archived and available for viewing on the City's website. Speakers I Persons wishing to address the Council on matters not on the agenda may do so under Public Comment. Those wishing to speak on items on the agenda may do so when the item is being considered. Please submit a Speaker's Slip to the City Clerk prior to the meeting or the announcement of the item. All comments will be limited to three (3) minutes. Per the Poway Municipal Code, the speaking time may be reduced. An Ordinance of the City of Poway relinquishing an approximate 0.07-acre portion of an existing City-owned trail easement in exchange for approximately 0.07-acres of new trail easement (Assessor Parcel Number 273-102-01-00) and determining that the action is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to section 15061 (b)(3) City Manager's Recommendation: It is recommended the City Council hold the first reading of the proposed Ordinance for relinquishment of a portion of the trail easement area, waive further reading and schedule adoption of the Ordinance for August 15, 2023. The Ordinance must be approved by a four-fifths vote of the City Council. Due to the current vacancy on the City Council, this action will require a unanimous vote. STAFF REPORTS: 16.
