Lighting District Overview: Assessments
Zone A – parcels with street lighting within their immediate vicinity.
Zone B – parcels with no immediate street lighting but share in the maintenance and operation for
street lighting along arterials.
Zone C – assessments collected to fund the operation and maintenance of traffic signals and
flashing beacons.
Recommendation:
It is recommended City Council take public input, close the public
hearing and adopt the Resolutions establishing assessments for
Poway Landscape Maintenance Districts 83-1, 86-1, 86-2, 86-3,
87-1, 19-1 and the Poway Lighting District to be collected on the
San Diego Property Tax Roll for Fiscal Year 2023-24.
