ABSTRACT
The Sycamore Avenue Improvements Project is located on Sycamore Avenue from Edgemoor
Street north for approximately 612 feet in the City of Poway. Bids were opened on February 16,
2005; eleven bids were received. The contract time for this project is 100 working days. The
engineer's estimate for this project is $300,000 to $350,000.
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW
This item is not subject to CEQA review.
FISCAL IMPACT
There are sufficient funds in the project budget (#5266A) for the award of this contract.
ADDITIONAL PUBLIC NOTIFICATION AND CORRESPONDENCE
Kirk Paving. Inc., 8722 Winter Gardens Boulevard, Lakeside, CA 92040
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council/Redevelopment Agency award the Sycamore Avenue
Improvements Project contract to Kirk Paving, Inc., the lowest responsible bidder in the amount of
$220,792.81.
