Hefner, Associate Civil Engineer /c-ft r October 22, 1996 FROM: INITIATED BY: DATE: SUBJECT: Acceptance of the Neddick Storm Drain Project (5415) ABSTRACT: Upon final inspection, staff finds the project (located on Neddick Road north of Garden Road) to be complete in accordance with the standards and specifications of the contract. It is recommended that the City Council/Redevelopment Agency approve acceptance of the project. FISCAL IMPACT - The project was completed within the available budget. No additional funds are needed. ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW This action was categorically exempt under Section 15301 and 15303 of the CEQA. ADDITIONAL PUBLIC NOTIFICATION AND CORRESPONDENCE None. RECOMMENDATION It is recommended that the City Council/Redevelopment Agency: 1. Formally accept the Neddick Storm Drain project (5415). 2. Authorize the City Clerk to file and record a Notice of Completion. 3. Hefner, Associate Civil Engineer~~ October 22, 1996 DATE: SUBJECT: Acceptance of the Neddick Storm Drain Project (5415) BACKGROUND On June 4, 1996, the City Council/Redevelopment Agency awarded the contract for the Neddick Storm Drain project (located on Neddick Road north of Garden Road) to Nottson Construction. The amount of the contract was $73,753.70. FINDINGS There were no Change Orders, and the contract amount was reduced by $1,144.30 to a final amount of $72,609.40. ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW This project is categorically exempt under Section 15301 and 15303 of the CEQA. FISCAL IMPACT The project was completed within the available budget.
