It is recommended the City Council hold second reading and adopt Ordinance No.
384, entitled, "An Ordinance of the City of Poway Changing the Zoning
Classification of Certain Property (ZC 93-01T) ."

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION
OF CERTAIN PROPERTY (ZC 93-01T)
WHEREAS, the City Council af the City of Poway has approved a General Plan
Amendment in conjunction with the update of the General Plan amending the land
use designation for an approximate 9.72 gross acre parcel (APN:314-040-09)
located on the northeast corner of Pomerado Road and Glen Oak Road from Open
Space (OS) to Public Facilities (PF) ; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the zoning classification of the pro-
perty should also be changed to maintain consistency with the General Plan as
required by Section 65860 of the California Government Code; and
WHEREAS, a properly noticed public hearing was conducted in accordance with
Section 65853, et seq. ,of the California Government Code and the California
Environmental Quality Act to consider this zone reclassification; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed zoning designations were
adequately discussed in the environmental impact report prepared and adopted for
the 1991 update of the Poway General Plan and that aforementioned amendments
would not result in any new significant impacts.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the City Council does hereby amend the
City of Poway Zoning Plan Map for the above described property from Open Space
(OS) to Public Facilities (PF) .
Effective Date: This ordinance shall take effect and be in force thirty
(30) days after the date of its passage; and before the expiration of fifteen
(15) days after its passage, it shall be published once with the names and mem-
bers voting for and against the same in the Powav News Chieftain, a newspaper of
general circulation published in the City of Poway.
Introduced and first read at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Poway held the 19th day of January, 1993, and thereafter PASSED and
ADOPTED at a regular meeting of said City Council held the 26th day of January,
1993 by the following roll call vote:
