BACKGR�UND•
On November 20, 1990 the City Council avarded the contract for
constructlon of the FFA Animal Facility to Jomas Constructors, lnc.
- The total amount oP tAe contract vas $161,760.00.
FINDINGS•
C1ty accApted tha project on June 11, 1991. Aftar the
contractor valked off the job City took over on April 3 , 1991 and
finishad the project. Certain subcontractors were paid a modified
contract amount. Others sued the City on stop notice claime.
The project is now completa and payment to Lhe stop notice
claimants in accordance with the agreement, maintained in the case
file of the office of the City Attorney, in the total amount of
S18,000.00, satiefies all claime and the project file may be
cloaed.

No further funding is necessary. The payment. reeulte in an
approximate $7, 000. 00 overrun on the total cost oP the project.
