BACKGROUND:
On August 11, 1992, bids were opened for the Construction of Lake Poway
Concession Building Roof Addition and Repairs.
FINDINGS:
The following five (5) bids were received on August 11, 1992:
1. Martin Resnik Construction Co. $21,640.00
2. Dennis L. Christensen Gen. Contractors $27,700.00
3. Mahr Construction $28,290.00
4. Cunningham Construction Co. $31,375.00
5. Carson Construction Co. $38,850.00
The Engineer's Estimate was $32,000.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There are sufficient funds available in the budget for the construction of the
proj ect.

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT:
This project is exempt from CEQA review under Section 15301.
PUBLIC NOTIFICATION AND CORRESPONDENCE:
Standard Distribution
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the City Council award the bid to the lowest
responsible bidder, Martin Resnik Construction Co., in the amount of
$21,640.00.
