CITY CLERK'S OFFICE
City of Poway
13325 Civic Center Drive
Poway CA 92064
Attention: City Clerk
Dear Mayor and City Councilmembers:
The Presbytery of San Diego is interested in establishing a Presbyterian church in the city of
Poway. In order to proceed in an orderly, timely fashion, two potential sites are submitted for
a pre-development conference with the City Council.
It is noted that churches now being established by the Presbytery of San Diego have the
following prof1le:
I) Attain membership of 1,000 - 1,200 within the development period
2) Minimum site of five (5) acres
3) A major thrust from the very beginning would be to assess communi~ needs and ways
of meeting them.
4) Pre-school and/or day care would be an early pan of the program
If further information is required prior to the conference, you may contact us at 573-1661.
