SUBJECT: Acceptance of Landscape Improvements for Landscape Ma intenance
District 87-1, TM 87-13, Parkway Business Center, Gate Drive
Detention Basin.
ABSlRACT
Parkway Business Center, TM 87-13, is required to provide landscape improvements
around the detention basin north of Gate Drive. The landscape improvements are
complete and ready for acceptance.
BACKGROUND
The landscape design for this area contains all native drought-tolerant plant
material. The irrigation is scheduled to be turned off after the first year.
The landscaping in this area is al so pl anned to provide a screen for the
residents on Gate Drive from the Business Park. These landscaping improvements
are required as a condition of improvement for TM 87 -13. The Gate Drive
Detent ion Bas in 1 andscape improvement is the first of several areas to be
completed in TM 87-13.
FINDINGS
All improvements have been completed per plans, specifications, and the City
guidelines for landscape development. The developer will be required to maintain
the improvements for one year from the date of acceptance.
FISCAL IMPACT
It is est imated that the annual ma intenance costs for the development's LMD
improvements will be $1,500 which will be assessed to Landscape Maintenance
