SUBJECT: Acceptance of Dedication of Property for Right-of-Way and Cpen
Space
ABSTRACT
it is recommended that the City Council authorize the City Manager to accept on
behalf of the City of Poway the dedication of property within the South Poway
area to provide for the necessary right-of-way to construct "new" Pamerado Road
and to provide for open space.
BACKGROUND
As a condition of the approval of the tract map for the Panerado Business Park,
Cadillac Fairview is required to construct "new" Pamerado Road. As a result,
Cadillac Fairview has been negotiating with the property owners in the area to
purchase rights-of-way for this road. As a condition of the purchase, the
following property owners have been required to dedicate certain property to the
City of Poway.
1. Robert and Patricia Wolinski
2. Lillian Wolinski
3. Leland and Margaret Williams
Any portion of the property being dedicated that is not necessary to be used for
right-of-way is to be accepted as open space.
• RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council authorize the City Manager to accept the
dedication of certain property within the South Poway area on behalf of the City
of Poway.
