Jimno, Director of Administrative Service DATE: April 22, 1986 SUBJECT: Extension of Lease 12324 Oak Knoll Road DuemRnr�m ' The City has entered into an agreement to lease City property to Prensatt, Incorporated. That lease is due to expire on June 30, 1986. Staff is recommending.extension of the lease -for 12 additional months. BACKGROUND Prensatt, Incorporated has leased the property at 12324 Oak Knoll Road since 1981, conducting a Montessori School on the premises. The lease contains provisions for Prensatt to make an offer to the City when notified of the City's intent to sell the property. Otherwise the lease shall continue'for a term of twelve months. The present lease will expire on June 30, 1986. Representatives of Prensatt, Inc. have been contacted with regard to a twelve month' extensi.on of the lease and an increase in the monthly rent from $1,054 per month to $1,094 per month. As stated in the attached letter Prensatt is agreeable to these terms. The tenants, Prensatt, Incorporated, have abided by all terms and conditions of past lease agreements and have made timely rental payments. Property Located At: 12324 Oak Knoll Road Poway, CA 92064 The parties to the above referenced lease agreement do hereby agree to an extension of the term of said agreement on the following terms and conditions: Item 3. Term. The term of this Extension ( "Term ") shall be for a period of 12 months commencing July 1, 1986, ( "Commencement Date ") and ending on June 30, 1987, unless sooner terminated pursuant to any provision hereof. Item 4. Rent. Tenant shall pay Landlord as rent for the Premises, monthly payments of $1,094 (hereinafter "Rent "), in advance, on the first day of each month of the Term: Rent shall be payable in lawful money of the United States to Landlord at the address stated above or to such other person or at such other places as Landlord may designate in writing. All other provisions of said Lease shall remain in full force and effect without modification.
