AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY 0F POWAY, CALIFORNIA
EXTENDING THE EFFECTIVE PERIOD OF SECTION 81.116
OF THE CITY OF POWAY REGULATORY ORDINANCES
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Ordinance 10 was adopted by this Council on February 10, 1981.
Section 2 of Ordinance 10 added Section 81.116 to the San Diego County Code, as
adopted by this Council on December 1, 1980 and set an expiration date for
Section 81.116 at 4 months. On June 2, 1981, Ordinance No. 34 was adopted
extending the effective period an additional eight (8) months.
This Council finds that the additional eight months was sufficient to
complete the study of flood control measures, however the best method of
implementing them has not yet been determined.
Section 2: Pursuant to authorization granted this Council by Government
Code Section 65858, this Council amends Section 81.116 (d) of the City
Regulatory Ordinances to read:
(d) notwithstanding any other provisions of this Code, this Section
shall expire and be of no further force and effect twelve (12) months
from the adoption of this Ordinance.
Introduced and first read at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Poway held the 5th day of January, 1982 and thereafter PASSED AND
ADOPTED at a regular meeting of said City Council held the 12th day of January,
1982 by the following roll call vote:
