A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
APPROVING COMPREHENSIVE SIGN PROGRAM 00-01
ASSESSOR'S PARCEL NUMBER 323-090-64
WHEREAS, Comprehensive Sign Program (CSP) 00-01 submitted by Stowe
Properties, LLC, applicant, requests approval of a comprehensive sign program for the
Stowe Plaza center, located at the northwest corner of Scripps Poway
Parkway and Stowe Drive.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City does hereby
follows:
Section 1: The sign prog .~odcally exempt from the California E Iai
Quality Act pursuant to Section 15311 (Class 11) in that it is for the placement of minor
st 'y to (appurtenant to) existing facilities.
Section 2: The proposed use is in accordance with the purpose and standards
contained in the South Poway Specific Plan Development Standards.
Section 3: The City Council hereby approves Comprehensive Sign Program 00-01
subject to the following conditions:
Within 30 days of approval, the applicant shall submit in writing that all
conditions of approval have been read and understood.
All signs within each parcel shall conform to the sign criteria and design
guidelines contained within the South Poway Specific Plan Development
Standards and the general p ' ' 'the Comprehensive Sign Ordinance
of the Poway Municipal Cod :led from time to time.
C. The following design standards shall apply:
Freestanding signs shall be located so as not to interfere with the
sight visibility at that' 1 within the City's right-of-
way.
Wall signs shall be constructed of individually illuminated channel
letters with returns to match the building face.
Sign colors shall be limited to approved colors: Red #2283; Blue
#2051; and Green #2030. Tenants with registered national
trademarks may use their Iogos and colors.

Wall signs shall contain the Stowe Plaza name and address and
tenant signs, up to the copy area, using materials and
methods of illumination to match the wall signs. The d :
the freestanding signs shall be eight feet in height and in width.
Approval of this request shall not 31lance with Section 17.40.010
of the Zoning Code and all other applicable City ord' effect at the
time of sign permit issuance.
The applicant shall obtain the required Building Division approvals and
permits.
APPROVED and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Poway, State of
California, this 22nd day of February 2000.
