A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA,
APPROVING TEMPORARY USE PERMIT 00-42
WHEREAS, Temporary Use Permit 00-42; City of Poway Community Services,
applicant, requests approval to hold the annual Community Band Festival at the Old Poway
Park, 14134 Midland Road on Saturday, May 20 and Sunday, May 21,2000.
WHEREAS, on May 16, 2000, the City Council considered the ab
item.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council does hereby
follows:
Section 1: Pursuant to the procedures of the City of Poway, implementing the California
E Quality Act of 1970, the al; -1 project is categorically exempt,
Class 4, Section 15304(e) and Class 11, Section 15311(c).
Section 2: The proposed use is in accordance with the purposes and standards of
Section 17.26.030.^ of the Poway Municipal Code.
ection 3: The City Council hereby approves Temporary Use Permit 00-42, Community
Band Festival at the Old Poway Park, 14134 Midland Road, from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
on Saturday, May 20, 2000; and from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 21,2000,
subject to the following conditions:
The event and related offsite parking shall be conducted as shown on the site plan
and application on file in the Development Services Department.

This permit is valid during the hours of 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 20,
2000; and from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 21, 2000, after which time
the site shall be restored to its original condition.
Approval of this activity shall not 31lance with all otb " : the

D. Prior to the event, the applicant shall comply with the following:
The Building, Fire, and County Sheriff's Departments shall be contacted for
appropriate permits and inspections prior to the I of the
activity.

The site shall be developed in accordance with the approved site plan on file
in the Development Services Department, except as may otherwise be
provided herein.
E. During the event, the applicant shall comply with the following:

system
