A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
APPROVING TEMPORARY USE PERMIT 01-24
WHEREAS, Temporary Use Permit 01-24; City of Poway Community Services,
applicant, requests approval to hold an Earth Day/Arbor Day Celebration at the Old Poway
Park, 14134 Midland Road on Saturday, April 21,2001.
WHEREAS, on April 17, 2001, the City Council considered the al;
item.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council does hereby
follows:
Section 1: Pursuant to the procedures of the City of Poway, implementing the
California E ~al Quality Act of 1970, the al; :1 project is categorically
exempt under the p ' ' :the California E Iai Quality Act, Class 4, Section
15304(e) and Class 11, Section 15311(c) in that the event is temporary and will have no
permanent effects on th I.
Section 2: That the proposed Jance with the purposes and standards
of Section 17.26.030.A of the Poway Municipal Code.
Section 3: The City Council hereby approves Temporary Use Permit 01-24, Earth
Day/Arbor Day event atthe Old Poway Park, 14134 Midland Road, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00
p.m. on Saturday, April 21,2001, subject to the following conditions:
1. The event and related offsite parking shall be conducted as shown on the site plan and
application on file in the Development Services Department.
2. This permit is valid during the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 21,
2001, after which time the site shall be restored to its original condition.
3. Approval of this activity shall not excuse compliance with all other sections of the
Zoning Ord :1 all other applicable City ordinances presently in effect.
4. Prior to the event, the applicant shall comply with the following:
a. The Building, Fire, County Health Departmeht, and County Sheriffs
Departments shall h ' :1 for appropriate permits and inspections prior
to th l of the activity.

b. The site shall be developed in accordance with the approved site plan on file
in the Development Services Department, except as may otherwise be
provided herein.
5. During the event, the applicant shall comply with the following:
a. Do not block emergency vehicle access to building, fire hydrant or fire
