A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA,
APPROVING TEMPORARY USE PERMIT 01-26
WHEREAS, Temporary Use Permit 01-26; Belinda Romero, City of Poway
Community Services, applicant, is a request to hold the Annual Community Band Festival
at the Old Poway Park, 14134 Midland Road on Saturday, May 19, 2001, and Sunday,
May 20, 2001.
WHEREAS, on May 15, 2001, the City Council considered the al:

NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council does hereby
follows:
Section 1: The City Council finds that Temporary Use Permit 01-26 is categorically
exempt from the p ' ' : the California E Iai Quality Act Section 15304(e),
Class 4 exemption, and Section 15311(c), Class 11 exemption, in that the event is
temporary in nature and will have no permanent effects on th
Section 2: The proposed use is in accordance with the purposes and standards of
Section 17.26.030.A of the Poway Municipal Code.
Section 3: The City Council hereby approves Temporary Use Permit 01-26 Community
Band Festival at the Old Poway Park, 14134 Midland Road, from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
on Saturday, May 19, 2001, and from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 20, 2001,
subject to the following conditions:
The event and related offsite parking shall be conducted as shown on the site plan
and appl file in the Development Services Department.

This permit is valid during the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 19,
2001, and from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 20, 2001, after which time
the site shall be restored to its original condition.
Approval of this activity shall not excuse compliance with all otb i the
Zoning Ord :l all other applicable City ordinances presently in effect.
D. Prior to the event, the applicant shall comply with the following:
1. The Development Services Traffic Engineering Department, Building, Safety
Services, County Health, and County Sheriffs Departments shall be contacted
for appropriate permits and inspections prior to the I of the

2. The site shall be developed in accordance with the approved site plan on file in
the Development Services Department, except as may otherwise be provided
herein.
