A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
APPROVING STREET NAME CHANGE 01-01
WHEREAS, Street Name Change 01-01, submitted by James Kennedy, is for
request of a street name change from Buds Lane to Valleyview Road; and
WHEREAS, the request is for an existing private street that currently provides
primary access to three existing single family homes and that the proposed name of
Valleyview Road is in compliance with the Street Naming Policy adopted by City Council on
July 10, 2001.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council does hereby
follows:
Section 1: That the proposed street name change is not considered a project and,
therefore, is not subject to the California E Quality Act.
Section 2: The City Council hereby approves Street Name Change 01-01 t the
existing private street, Buds Lane, to Valleyview Road. The street is located northeast of
Espola Road at the ' : Deer Valley Estates and Old Coach Road.
Section 3: Prior to the name change being effective, the applicant shall pay for all costs in
replacing the street sign.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Poway,
State of California, this 17th day of July 2001.
