A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
APPROVING A MODIFICATION TO COMPREHENSIVE SIGN PROGRAM 87-04(M)2

WHEREAS, Comprehensive Sign Program (CSP) 87-04(M)2, submitted by
Poway - Nierman, LP, Applicant, requests the approval for a modification to the
Comprehensive Sign Program for the Pomerado Plaza located at the northeast corner
of Poway Road and Oak Knoll Drive within the Community Business (CB) zone and
Poway Road Specific Plan.

Section 1: This proposed project is Categorically Exempt (Class 11) from the
California E Quality Act (CEQ^) pursuant to Section 15311 of the CEQA
Guidelines, in that it is for the placement of minor structures accessory to (appurtenant
to) existing facilities.
Section 2: The proposed use is in accordance with the purposes and standards
contained in the Poway Road Specific Plan and Poway Municipal Code.
Section 3: The City Council hereby approves the Modification of CSP 87-04M(2),
subject to the following conditions:
Within 30 days of approval, the applicant shall submit in writing that all conditions
of approval have been read and understood.
All signs shall conform to the sign criteria and design guidelines contained within
the Poway Road Specific Plan Development Standards and the general
provisions of the Comprehensive Sign Ordinance of the Poway Municipal Code
as amended from time to time.
Upon submittal of a Sign Permit application pursuant to this Comprehensive Sign
Program, the applicant shall provide evidence that the property owner or its
agent has approved the proposed signage.

Zoning Code and all other applicable City ordinances in effect at the time of sign
permit issuance.
Prior to installing a sign the applicant shall obtain a Sign Permit from the
Planning Division and any necessary Building Division permits.
