NOTICE OF CODE ENFORCEMENT LIEN
(FAILURE TO PAY CIVIL FINES)
The CITY OF POWAY (hereafter, the "City ") claims a lien on that certain parcel of real property located in
the City of Poway, County of San Diego, State of California, described as follows:

Pursuant to the terms of Poway Municipal Code Chapter 1.10.110, the owner of the Property, Thomas
Schmersal Living Trust 12- 04 -03, is indebted to the City in the sum of Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00),
by reason of failure to pay civil fines imposed by Administrative Citation No.0524 and Administrative
Citation No.0526 for violations of the Poway Municipal Code Section(s) 16.42.010, 16.50.160 and
17.08.240(A.) at the Property. Poway Municipal Code Section 1.10.010 authorizes the City to impose a
code enforcement lien on the real property upon which a municipal code violation occurs where the
property owner has failed to pay the civil fines imposed by an administrative citation within the time
specified on the citation. The right to seek judicial review of the City's determination that a violation
existed at the Property in accordance with the above - described citation(s) and to dispute the amount of
civil penalties has expired.
The recording of this lien is authorized by Poway Municipal Code section 1.10.110 which allows the City
to assess a lien on property owned by the responsible party when such person has failed to pay the civil
fines imposed by an administrative citation within the time specified on the Citation.
