AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA,
DELETING ZONING ORDINANCE SECTIONS 2365a, 2367a
and 2367b; RESIDENTIAL AND SPECIAL USES WITHIN
C-36 ZONE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA, DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Zoning Ordinance Sections 2360 et seq, refer
to uses allowed within the C-36 zone. Section 2365a allows group
residential use within C-36 upon issuance of a major use permit.
Sections 2367a and b allow "special uses" no longer permitted
by expiration of the application date. This ordinance is intended
to delete the multi-residential use from the C-36 zone and expunge
the antiquated provisions of Sections 2367a and b.
Section 2. Zoning Ordinance 2365a, 2367a and b are hereafter
deleted from the zoning ordinance for the City of Poway. The
succeeding paragraphs shall be renumbered accordingly.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30)
days after its adoption and the City Clerk shall certify the
adoption of this ordinance and cause it to be posted in three
public places. After the effective date of this ordinance no
project shall be set for hearing before the City Council request-
ing a use inconsistent with this ordinance unless accompanied by a
general plan amendment and/or zone change.
Section 4. The City Council of the City of Poway, California,
hereby finds that this ordinance will not cause significant ad-
verse impacts on the environment and therefore issues a negative
declaration.
Introduced and first read at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Poway held the 18th day of ~y
1982, and thereafter PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of
said City Council held the 25th day of May , 1982,
by the following vote:
