SECURITY PROGRAM GRANT
WHEREAS, the City of Poway is eligible to receive federal grant funds through the
2017-2019 State Homeland Security Program Grant for emergency preparedness;

WHEREAS, the federal grant funds for the Homeland Security Program Grant
require no City matching funds, all grant -related expenditures are one -hundred percent
reimbursable, and the City shall incur no direct costs'; and
WHEREAS, it 'is the desire of the City of Poway to participate in this program to
enhance emergency preparedness.
