RESOLUTION NO. 04-014
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA,
ESTABLISHING AN INTERIM COMMERCIAL LOADING ZONE
ON THE EAST SIDE OF SILVER LAKE DRIVE BETWEEN
POWAY ROAD AND ROBISON BOULEVARD
WHEREAS, Section 10.28.190 of the Poway Municipal Code allows the City Council
by resolution to determine the location of and establish loading zones; and
WHEREAS, this Council has determined that creation of a loading zone on the east
side of Silver Lake Drive between Poway Road and Robison Boulevard is desirable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Poway
as follows:
1. A commercial loading zone is hereby created on the east side of Silver Lake
Drive, beginning approximately 423 feet north of Poway Road and continuing
for approximately 75 feet.
2. This parking restriction will not take effect until appropriate signage and curb
painting indicating the loading zone has been installed on Silver Lake Drive.
3. The loading zone on Silver Lake Drive will be removed and the area that it
occupies will be available for on-street parking once a City-wide auto
storage lot has been created.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Poway
at a regular meeting this 16th day of March, 2004.
