Minutes 2012 02-06CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA MINUTES OF THE BUDGET REVIEW COMMITTEE REGULAR MEETING February 6, 2012 The February 6, 2012, Regular Meeting of the Budget Review Committee was called to order at 6:07 p.m. in the Poway City Council Chambers Observation Room, 13325 Civic Center Drive, Poway, California. COMMITTEE MEMBERS PRESENT John Carnaroli, Howard Collins, Gary Fletcher, Jeff Mangum and Steve Vaus COMMITTEE MEMBERS ABSENT None STAFF MEMBERS PRESENT Penny Riley, City Manager Tina White, Assistant City Manager John French, Director of Administrative Services Peter Moote, Assistant Director of Administrative Services Eric Heidemann, Legislative Services Administrator PUBLIC ORAL COMMUNICATIONS None 1. REVIEW OF FY 11-12 MIDYEAR BUDGET EVALUATION The Committee was presented with an overview of the results of staff’s review of financial activity for FY 11-12 to date. The Committee discussed the material changes to the budget since original adoption, including the loss of revenue resulting from the termination of fees for recovery of mandated Stormwater program costs, and the state-wide dissolution of the Redevelopment Agencies effective February 1, 2012. 1.
