ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING
MARCH 4, 2004
The March 4, 2004, Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of
Poway, was called to order at 6:00 p.m., by Mayor Cafagna at the Poway Community
Library - Meeting Room, 13137 Poway Road, Poway, California.

PUBLIC ORAL COMMUNICATIONS
Mayor Cafagna explained the procedure for Public Oral Communications.
The following people were present wishing to speak:
Marge Knothe, 13724 Sagewood, spoke regarding the total cost and amount of acreage
purchased for the proposed softball fields, inquired as to when the item would be coming to
City Council and requested those people who have signed her petition to be notified of any
upcoming meetings.
City Manager Bowersox responded to Ms. Knothe. Information regarding the property may
be obtained from the City Clerk's Office, a date has not been set for the proposed project
to come before City Council, and those individuals wishing to receive notification of any
meetings regarding the project may submit a letter to the City Clerk's Office requesting
notification.
--- Dee Fleischman, 14428 Midland, spoke regarding the proposed design of Midland
Elementary, various architectural designs and landscaping in regards to the Old Poway
Park Master Plan that was recently adopted.

REGIONAL COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
SAN DIEGO ASSOCIATION OF GOVERNMENTS (SANDAG)
Mayor Cafagna introduced the item. SANDAG Representative Bob Leiter made a Power
Point presentation on the Regional Comprehensive Plan (copy on file in the Office of the
City Clerk). He then responded to questions of the Council.
General discussion ensued.
ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Cafagna adjourned the meeting at 7:05 p.m., upon motion by Councilmember
Emery, seconded by Councilmember Goldby.
