MAY 6, 2004
The May 6, 2004, Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of
Poway, was called to order at 6:00 p.m., by Mayor Cafagna at the poway Community
Library - Meeting Room, 13137 Poway Road, Poway, California.

Mayor Cafagna explained the procedure for Public Oral Communications.

PRE-DEVELOPMENT CONFERENCE
POMERADO HOSPITAL - MASTER PLAN
Mayor Cafagna introduced the item. Staff report by City Manager Bowersox. Palomar
Pomerado Health is undergoing development of an expansion Master Plan for Pomerado
Hospital in order to meet the growing healthcare needs forthe surrounding community. All
of the currently proposed development would occur on the portion of property that is zoned
Hospital Campus.
Pomerado Hospital CEO, Michael Culvert introduced his project staff and architects.
Palomar Pomerado Health Director of Facilities Planning and Development, Mike
Shanahan and Architect Tom Chessum provided a brief Power Point presentation and
responded to questions of the Council.
General discussion ensued.

Mayor Cafagna adjourned the meeting at 7:04 p.m., upon motion by Councilmember
Emery, seconded by Councilmember Goldby.
