A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA,
INITIATING A SPECIFIC PLAN AMENDMENT (SPA 84-01RRR)
TO THE SOUTH POWAY SPECIFIC PLAN
AMENDING THE INDUSTRIAL PARK AND LIGHT INDUSTRIAL USE MATRIX
WHEREAS, Chapter 1'7.47 (Specific Plan Regulations) of Title 17 (Zoning
Development Code) of the Poway Municipal Code provides the req for the
initiation, preparation, and adoption of Specific Plans in accordance with Section 65450,
et seq., of the California G I Code (ArticLe 8, Specific Plan); and
WHEREAS, Section 17.47.020.C (Initiation) of the Zoning Development Code
provides that the City Council may initiate the preparation of, or amendment to, a
Specific Plan on property by resolution; and
WHEREAS, a Specific Plan Amendment is proposed to add a use that was
inadvertently deleted during a comprehensive update of Volume 2 of the Specific Plan
in December 2002.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE bT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of
Poway hereby initiates a Specific Plan Amendment (SPA 84-01RRR) to add the
following use to Table 1 of Volume 2, Development Standards of the South Poway
Specific Plan:
