RESOLUTION NO. 04- 070
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
COMMENDING EAGLE SCOUT
ALEXANDER J. SMITH
WHEREAS, Alexander J. Smith has fulfilled requirements in the areas of
leadership, service, and outdoor skills; and
WHEREAS, Alexander J. Smith has advanced through the ranks of Scout,
Tenderfoot, 2nd Class, 1st Class, Star, Life, and Eagle; and
WHEREAS, Alexander J. Smith has obtained 31 merit badges in various
educational, community-oriented, and sporting activities, which signify the mastery of
Scoutcraft skills; and
WHEREAS, Alexander J. Smith has completed the community service project
demonstrating participatory and leadership skills within his patrol and/or troop.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Poway
hereby commends Eagle Scout Alexander J. Smith for his efforts and achievements in
Scouting.
PASSED, ADOPTED, AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Poway
at the regular meeting this 1 th day of August 2004.
