RESOLUTION NO. 04- 077
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA,
ORDERING THE VACATION
OF A PORTION OF SYCAMORE AVENUE,
ADJACENT TO LOTS 15AND 16
IN BLOCK 24 OF PIERMONT, MAP NO. 785, APN 314-213-02
(VACATION 04-02)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Poway intends to vacate a
portion of Sycamore Avenue, south of Edgemoor Street, adjacent to Lots 15 and
16 in Block 24 of Piermont, Map No. 785, in accordance with the procedures
provided in Part 3, commencing at Section 8300, of Division 9 of the State of
California Streets and Highways Code; and
WHEREAS, Sycamore Avenue was dedicated for public street purposes
as shown on the final map of Piermont, Map No. 785; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the procedures provided therefore in said Chapter
of the Streets and Highways Code, a public hearing shall be held for the street
vacation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Poway, California, as follows:
The public hearing for the vacation of a portion of Sycamore Avenue, adjacent to
Lots 15 and 16 in Block 24 of Piermont, Map No. 785, shall be held on Tuesday,
September 28, 2004, at 7:00 p.m., in the Meeting Room of the Poway
Community Library, in the City of Poway, 13137 Poway Road, Poway, California.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of
Poway, California, at a regular meeting this 7th day of September 2004.
