RESOLUTION NO. 04-090
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA,
CREATING TIME-LIMITED NO-PARKING ZONES DURING STREET SWEEPING
TIME ON OAK KNOLL ROAD BETWEEN POMERADO ROAD AND CARRIAGE ROAD
WHEREAS, Section 22507.6 ofthe California Vehicle Code allows local agencies to
prohibit or restrict parking on local streets for the purpose of street sweeping; and
WHEREAS, this Council has determined that creation of time-limited no-parking
zones on Oak Knoll Road between Pomerado Road and Carriage Road is necessary to
allow street sweeping.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Poway
as follows:
1. Time-limited no-parking zones are hereby created as follows:
A. On the north side of Oak Knoll Road between Pomerado Road and Carriage
Road on Wednesdays between 10 a.m. and noon, and
B. On the south side of Oak Knoll Road between Pomerado Road and Carriage
Road on Tuesdays between 10 a.m. and noon.
2. These parking restrictions will not take effect until appropriate signage has been
installed on the affected sections of Oak Knoll Road.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Poway
at a regular meeting this 19th day of October, 2004.
