It needs to be large enough to accommodate ALL of the current activities, as well as allowing for MORE activities to be added. It has taken a very long time to get to this point and it needs to be done right. 2.Please don’t shortchange the residents of Poway, especially the Seniors. 3.We hope you will use some of the 2017-2018 fiscal year general fund surplus to help in closing the funding gap needed in order to select the larger Hybrid Plus floor plan. Much will be said at tomorrow’s Council meeting, but since we don’t usually speak, we wanted to put some of our thoughts in writing. Sincerely, Nancy & Bill Roeckl Long time Poway residents and Regular attendees at Poway City Council meetings P.S. We were very pleased to learn that there appears to be a temporary place where the Senior Center can continue to operate during construction. Hats off to Councilmembers Grosch and Mullin for their efforts to make this happen. ADDITIONAL MATERIAL 1 of 1 February 19, 2019, Item #4.1
