SUBJECT: CIP Status; Report
BACKGROUND
in past years, the Engineering Division has prepared bar chart
schedules for each CIP project for Council's information. Wh e
we still prepare detailed bar charts for each project similar to
the "TYPICAL.PROJECT SCHEDULE", Exhibit. 1, all the: project
schedules have been combined on one sheet, Exhibit 2., to simplify
council's review.
Also, asummary has been prepared, Exhibit 3 to show how'many
projects are in each. phase of design through completion each
month. The summary also allows usi to better plan for design
and inspection for peak work loads. For instance, from September
through December, we will have either'nine or ten projects under
construction.
A detailed verbal report on the statusofeach project will be
presented at the workshop. Also,- conceptual plans for the
Pomerado Soundwall will be presented for Council's input.
RECOMMENDATION
It. is ,recommended that the City Council receive and file this:
report.
