AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
ESTABLISHING A SPECIAL GAS TAX STREET IMPROVEMENT FUND
IN THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA, DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. To comply with the provisions of Section 2113 of the
Streets and Highways Code and to avail itself of its benefits of Sections
2106 and 2107 thereof, there is hereby created in the city treasury a
special fund to be known as the "Special Gas Tax Street Improvement Fund".
Section 2. Ail moneys received by the city from the State of Calif-
ornia under the provisions of the Streets and Highways Code for the acqui-
sition of real property or interests therein for or for engineering or for
the construction, maintenance or improvement of streets or highways by the
city shall be paid into said fund.
Section 3. Ail moneys in said fund shall be expended exclusively for
the purposes authorized by and subject to the provisions of the Streets and
Highways Code.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Poway at a regular meeting thereof held this 1st day of December, 1980, by
the following called vote:
