Public Hearing Notice for 5-21-19 meetingNOTICE OF CITY COUNCIL PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Poway will hold a Public Hearing at the time and location noted below to consider the following item :Minor Development Review Application (MDRA)19 -005 and Variance (VAR)18 -005;a request to allow a proposed 978-square-foot addition to an existing 1,335-square-foot single-story residence which will be rebuilt and an attached 1,073 square-foot garage located at 12 217 Boulder View Drive (APN 317-200-16 )to observe a 22.5-foot front yard setback when a 40-foot setback is required in the Rural Residential C (RR-C)zone.The required findings to support VA R 18 -005 can be made based on unique circumstances applicable to the property.The project is Categorically Exempt from the California Environmental Qualit y Act (CEQA),as Classes 3 and 5 Categorical Exemptions,Sections 15303(e)and 15305,in that the project involves the reconstruction of an existing single-family residence and additions on a legal parcel located in a residential zone and the variance for a reduced front yard setback will not result in changes in land use or density.
