adjourned from the January 16, lggO, regular meeting, was called to order at
9:06 a.m. by Mayor Higglnson at the City Council Chambers, 13325 Civic Center
Drive, Poway, California.

Mayor Hlgginson explained the procedure for Public Oral Communications. There
was no one present wishing to speak.
TOUR OF WY
Council, staff and Assemblywoman Hunter left the Council Chambers at 9:20 a.m.
to tour the City. Stops included: Community Center; South Poway/Alternate 8;
Water Reclamation Site; Route 56; Twin Peaks Multipurpose Center; Poway Grade/SE
67; Performing Arts Center/Poway High School Football Stadium; Lake Poway; Blue
Sky Ranch; Valle Verde Park; Migrant Worker Camp; Bernardo Winery; Goodan Ranch;
Poinsettia Mobilehome Park; Haley's Trailer Ranch; and Palomar College satellite
campus site.
The stop at the Bernardo Winery included lunch and discussion of city issues
including: water reclamation; redevelopment; migrant workers; and gas tax
increase for transportation needs.
