The February 10, 1990 meeting of the City Council of the City of Poway,
adjourned from the February 6, 1990, regular meeting, was called to order at
1D:10 a.m. by Mayor Higginson at the City Council Chambers, 13325 Civic Center
Drive, Poway, California.

Mayor Higginson explained the procedure for Public Oral Communications. There
was no one present wishing to speak.
TOUR OF POWAY
Council, staff and Senator Lucy Killea left the Council Chambers at 10:15 a.m.
to tour the City. Stops included: Community Center; South Poway/Alternate 8;
Water Reclamation Site; Route 56; Twin Peaks Multipurpose Center; Performing
Arts Center; Lake Poway; Blue Sky Ranch; Valle Verde Park; Bernardo Winery; and
Old Poway Park.
The stop at the Bernardo Winery included lunch and discussion of city issues
including: water reclamation; redevelopment; migrant workers; gas tax increase
for transportation needs; and airport relocation.
