Resolution No. 92-152
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY,
ACCEPTING THE DEDICATION OF A CERTAIN
ONE-FOOT WIDE STRIP OF LAND LYING WITHIN
CITY OF POWAY TRACT NO. 87-12, MAP NO. 12498:
SILVER RIDGE ROAD
WHEREAS, on the map of City of Poway Tract 87-12 recorded November 9,
1989, as Map No. 12498 in the office of the County Recorder, there is offered
for dedication for public street purposes a certain one-foot wide strip at the
end of Silver Ridge Road, and
,
WHEREAS, on said Map No. 12498, the City Council of the City of Poway,
rejected the offer of dedication of said one-foot wide strip of land as
hereinafter more particularly described; and
WHEREAS, because of the approval and impending recordation of the final
map of City of Poway Tract 87-12, it is in the best public interest of the
City of Poway that said one-foot wide strip be now accepted for public use for
street purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Poway
as follows:
1. The City of Poway hereby rescinds the rejection of said one-foot
wide strip of land, and does hereby accept for public street
purposes the following:
a. That portion of Lots 6 & 7 designated as "portion of Lots 6 & 7
reserved for future street" on City of Poway Tract No. 87-12
recorded November 9, 1989 as Map No. 12498 in the office of the
County Recorder of San Diego County, California.
2. The City Clerk of the City of Poway is authorized and directed to
cause a certified copy of this resolution to be recorded in the
Office of the Recorder of San Diego County.
PASSES, ADOPTED, AND APPROVED, by the City Council of the City of Poway,
California, at a regular meeting this 21s day July, 1992.
